There are multiple causes for dark circles,they include: eye bags, pigmentation,lifestyle(habitual lack of sleep or rest),facial shape and medical conditions such as allergic rhinitis.Medical treatments are directed to the underlying cause and the dark color may be reduced by eye creams, cosmetics, laser therapy or injection of hyaluronic acid. Complete eradication is usually not possible.
The new sutures if placed at a higher level than the old sutures will have "say" or priority to have the eyelid fold at the new level.It is not necessary to remove the old sutures unless they can be easily done through the same incision or opening in the skin.
