威爾斯親王醫院發生醫生帶女友入手術室，陪伴做手術嚴重違規事件。中文大學眼科及視覺科學系助理教授范愷上月復活節假期凌晨，為一名病人進行緊急眼角膜移植手術時，帶同女友入手術室觀看手術。院方證實范愷未有提出申請，將商討是否處分他。醫學會會董批評行為侵犯病人私隱，及可能干擾手術，危害病人安全。
