普通科醫生黃治東被控於2019年4月，於其診所為一名男病人進行有關左手手指受傷的診斷期間，未有為男病人提及過左手手指有神經受損的可能性，而間接導致男病人傷勢未能在黃金時間得到適切治療，令其手指留下永久性損傷。
