本人於7年前因肝癌在養和醫院做過手術，到2024年12份在肺部底發現有一個思疑20mm腫瘤，當時由肝臟科專科醫生建議經過全身掃描後確診思疑肺癌，並寫了兩封轉介信給政府醫院專科排診及私家胸肺科專科尋求意見，由於私家費用過高需要時間安排，大家想新年將至顯得徬徨，後來上天不負有心人我在網上找到孫漢治胸肺科教授，約見後，孫教授非常專業地向本人講解整個治療過程，而且費用非常合理，令本人及時放下心結。
本人於2025年2月4日入養和醫院，並在2日5日由孫教授向本人做切除肺部腫瘤手術，我記得手術前孫教授先安撫本人心理減除壓力，表現得非常專業，手術非常成功，而且本人身體復原非常快速，並在2月6日下午就可以出院回家休息。
今次能夠認識到呢位專業嘅孫漢治好醫生，令本人快速地投入正常生活及工作，感覺非常幸運。本人在此對孫漢治醫生抱以萬分感激，祝孫教授。新一年新年快樂身體健康，繼續濟世為懷幫助多啲有需要的人。

In my recent medical check-up, I discovered a large tumor in my chest. A friend highly recommended Dr. Suen Hon Chi to me.

Upon researching Dr. Suen’s professional background, I found that he possesses extensive knowledge and rich experience in thoracic surgery. He is adept at managing complex cases and utilizes the most advanced treatment methods to deliver the highest standard of care for his patients. Dr. Suen has received high ratings and is well-respected by both patients and peers.

During my first appointment with Dr. Suen, his warm demeanor put me at ease, and he offered many valuable insights. Although the nature of the tumor was yet to be determined, he promptly arranged for a fine needle biopsy and admitted me to the hospital the following day. Dr. Suen promptly informed me of the biopsy result the next day when it was released, allowing me to stay updated on my condition. He arranged for a single-port video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery just a few days later, which impressed me with its efficiency.

I was impressed by Dr. Suen’s exceptional skill. Without expert knowledge, using a single-port technique to remove a 7 cm tumor is not easy. Additionally, I experienced minimal pain post-operatively; I was able to eat on the day of the surgery, got out of bed the next day, and was discharged on the third day, with my mobility returning to normal within a few days.

After my discharge, even while attending a conference meeting in the United States, Dr. Suen showed concern for my recovery by reaching out via WhatsApp to check on my condition and promptly update me on the pathological report of the tumor.

I feel truly blessed to have encountered this remarkable doctor, whose extraordinary expertise and genuine compassion have significantly transformed my experience. His commitment to patient care, combined with his professionalism, not only eased my fears but also instilled a deep sense of confidence in my treatment journey.

媽媽今年84歲，於2024年一次例行檢查中發現肺部有陰影，同年11月確診為1-2期肺癌。她當時身體狀況應可接受手術治療(因為媽媽多年來保持每天運動一個小時，身體一直很健康，肺活量也比一般人為佳)，但其他醫院以她年事已高及有三高(高血壓、高膽固醇、糖尿病)為由，否決為其進行手術，只安排其他治療。當時家人頓感徬徨、無助，非常擔憂⋯⋯我們四出尋找合適的醫生為媽媽治療。

我們很慶幸經過別的胸肺科醫生推薦，遇上了孫漢治醫生。經過孫醫生再次評估及安排進行多方面專業檢查，孫醫生認為媽媽適合接受手術。手術也很順利於2025年初完成。媽媽術後第二天已可下床活動，第三天已沒有痛、沒有咳和痰，另進食及排泄都很好，術後第四天可以出院。目前媽媽一切健康、正常，活動自如，沒有痛、不辛苦。

我體檢時發現了肺部小結節，因為家人剛剛找過孫醫生治療，推薦下就直接找孫醫生做檢查了。本身以為自己生活非常有規律，傷風感冒咳嗽都沒有，對自己肺部健康非常有信心。孫醫生初診時其實已經知道不是一般問題，提醒我必須跟進。但我當時反應比較大，最後得到醫生循循善誘底下我才勇敢去做抽組織檢查，結果真的是癌症。
