Prostate Surgery
My doctor asked me to consider surgery to reduce the size of my prostate as Duodart has not helped. I have seen a programme about blocking the artery leading to the prostate from the back. Is it better than the traditional surgery through the urinary duct? Do you perform such s aurgery? Many thanks..

Embolization of the artery supplying the prostate gland for the treatment of enlarged prostate is still under experimental clinical evaluation, ie, it is not a recognized standard treatment method for BPH. This treatment method is not available in the public medical service.
