serious強迫症
我有個young brother 今年佢21 years old
應該是5-6years ago, he started to wash his hands very often and 怕dirty. In this 5-6 years, this problem has been getting very serious. 我們有叫個doctor上屋企但係佢refused to see the doctor.
現在情況係佢日日都lock himself in the toliet...recently he stayed in toliet for 8 days without eating food.he never sleep at night and spent most of the time in toliet. his health is getting worse and worse day by day. As family,We feel very pain when we see his situation
我係電話同佢講過野,佢actually 講野好正常..但佢反應比較慢..佢唔係好喜歡佢屋企人講野.仲有佢沒有什麼朋友.仲有係細細個his parents好strict to him. 佢有時現在有時都會出來
打下computer games.
im currently oversea but his parents are in HK. His parents has tried every methods to help him.
We considered to send him to hospital but i reckon this is not a good way beacuse they will just focus him to take some medicine which may be對佢有反效果
I would like to seek your advise what should we do at this stage for his situation.

嚴重的強迫症十分影響一個人的日常生活，若患者拒絕尋醫，對家人來說，會是很難處理的。
如此情況，可考慮請他的家人聯絡區內的精神健康綜合社區中心 Community Centre for Mental Wellness (ICCMW)。家人可致電他們的熱線電話，解釋家中的情況，從而得到有經驗的社工協助。有關的網址連結如下:

部分私家精神科醫生會提供家訪的服務，他的家人可自行選擇及作查詢。
但若果他的情況會對自己或家人的安全帶來即時的危機，那便必須考慮運用緊急的醫療服務。
