C section scar is usually treated by the application of silicone sheet daily for several months as well as steroid injection into the scar monthly for about 3 sessions. If the scar shows no response, surgical excision can be considered for a widened and thickened scar. The risks of surgery is scar recurrence ( some degree of scar recurrence is conmmon) and wound infection. surgeon' s and facility fees are roughly dependent on the duration of surgery and is more reliably provided after a medical consultation.
